Our international award winning Drum Winches feature specifically designed marine graded patented motors and oversized Worm Drive Gearboxes and are IP68 rated to suit even the harshest environment. The motors can be moved into 12 different positions to ensure that each Drum Winch can be installed on almost any vessel. Paired with our EFF Electronic Fast Fall System our Drum Winches can reach speeds of over 100m per minute.
The Stainless Steel Series (SSS) is the worlds first and only complete 316 Stainless Steel Winch. Like the SS range of winches, the SSS feature fully sealed 316 Stainless Steel motors but also feature a 316 Stainless Steel Gearbox. Machined to fine tolerances and utilising O ring seals, the SSS series motors are completely submersible without the use of sealants or glues. You no longer need to be concerned about water ingress or corrosion. This is the Rolls Royce of winches.
The 1000 SSS package includes 95m of 7mm double braid rope + 7m chain and is suitable for boats up to 7m (23ft).

Hi I purchased a sav winch just over 12 months ago and fitted it to my 545 Bluewater streaker. This season I have used the winch many times( long service leave )and the winch has proven itself to be completely reliable. While fishing in bass strait out of mcglouglins beach when combination of wind and tide made anchoring in deep water (30mtrs) a little difficult at times I contacted nick about the fast fall system he had one out in the post the next day. This item has allowed me to now anchor exactly where I want to be. Even on those windy days. People often comment on how quiet the motor is in operation.
